Interesting ... this call came in but somehow managed not to show up on my phone ... just rung ... now the scammers are doing other things to mess up the phones? This is the second time this has happened ... my device that catches robos at least caught the number so that I can complain to the do nothing do not call registry!
Received call @4:10 pm on 11/17/14, my recorder took a message which was: a Miss Wagner from Acurion Health was calling from (New York, NY) asking if you would like to participate in a Diabetes study in your area offering $1,000 dollars for your participation. Space was limited so press #1 if you want to sign up or press #9 to opt out. For further information to call Acurion @ 1-844-611-3406. Not sure if Acurion is spelled properly caller ID just says NY.
I got the same call with the same message as LG this afternoon, November 24. The web site for Aurian.com looks legitimate, but I'm not a medical professional to judge. Perhaps if I were a diabetic and not trusting my medical care, I might explore further, but robo calls seem an odd way to solicit this kind of business.
