Called at 5:32pm today and only let it ring a couple of times. Not enough time for the answering machine to come on. Can't find anything on the net about this.
I have received three calls this week at about 3:33pm CT from 929-499-0004. I inadvertently answered the second time and the man asked for "Oscar". I told him he had a wrong number.
Internet searches after the third call today revealed this is an invalid number. The area code is valid for NY but the prefix appears to be invalid. One result said:
"(929) 499-XXXX is not valid. However, 929 is a valid area code. Check that you entered 499 correctly."
