Rude man was speaking quickly and said that he was a vendor and we owed him money. I asked if he had a contact listedk, he said no and asked for my name. I told him I don't give it out, but I could transfer to accounts payable. He asked for that number and I told him I couldn't give him that due to privacy policies he asked "which privacy policy is that?" I replied "the one where I can't give you direct phone numbers" and transferred to Accounts Payable. If it's legit, our rep will find the invoice in our records. If not, we'll know for sure that this was an attempt at intimidation for a scammer.
