Who called from 9298002846

Bogus IRS spoofer trying to scam money out of you on a phony so called audit of your past tax returns.

Got  a call  same  "IRS clamity" from 716 area code.  Reposting here to help people file complaints. FIGHT BACK. Use an FCC complaint form . I am a gov't employee and do not wish to be disturbed

Based on the category of call, you can file a complaint. FCC uses telecommunication logs to track sources ,  stop, AND  issue fines.

This is a SCAM! Do not call this number back. They say they are the I.R.S. It's a BotCall, launched by computers that cannot be traced. They are fishing for information to steal your personal data.

I received a call from this number claiming they were the IRS and that i owed money from 2008-2012. The phone line was very distorted, and i could bearly understand what he was saying. He asked me for my name and address, and then he told me that i owed $2,900.00 USD to the IRS. When i asked him how this was possiable he said that he would need to verify more information from me to find out. I told him no and he stated that they were goint ot send my claim to the "court house" and then disconnected. I call back 4 times and everytime this same person answered the phone and hung up on me. I called my girlfreind (who works in the banking indusrty) and she called back the number and then person hung up on her as well. Then we Google serched the phone number and we got this page. This is a SCAM. I ahve been paying my taxes through H&R Block since i was 18 years old and there has never been an issue. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFORAMTION!!

I got a call from 935-567-3641 and was told I was being sued by the IRS...told to call back to this number 929-800-2846.   Folks the IRS would send you a bill before they would make a phone call....this is a scam
