Got a call from a 617 area code which is Boston, MA saying they are United processing services about a civil complaint. then gave me a file number and phone number of an 877 number for a law firm to release court sealed documents.
Received BS call from this number, they left message on my answering service telling me or my legal counsel to call 888-496-5170 and to have proper ID to receive documents concerning a formal complaint. Someone named Riley (female) from Processing Division at Unified Process Services. She was so stupid she couldn't even come up with a department name for the bogus company. I have caller ID that's how I know the real number this person called from.
They left exact same message as Cathy C above. I could tell it's pre recorded because on each message they left was on my system twice, absolutely identical from the first, I blocked the number but they still can leave a message. Scam
Can somebody help! We need to stop this people, Calling and leaving message requesting form of identification such ID driver license sort of identification to deliver legal documents, This need to be reported to the Federal Attorney . This is Scam! We need to find and report this people.
I just got the same call 2 minutes ago, same person, NY number but they left a 1800 number to call back for "legal"papers. .never once said who they were trying to reach.
