got a call from 929-999-1234 telling me they were from windows and that my computer had various malware problems. they said they would help me clean it up. go to your computer and press this and press that but I told him I was not the IT guy for the company just a bookkeeper. He assured me it would clean up my computer. I too asked for his phone number and would have my IT guy call him back as soon as he returned to the office. This creep started breathing heavy and I asked him if he was okay. Don't do anything this guy asks you to do. He would have hacked my computer and then I would have had more problems than I would want.
Same here guy was instant that all computers on my network needed a licence gave me a long code 888DCA60-FC0A-11CF-8F0F then wanted me to go to my computer. Said I would get granddaughter to do it can I have their telephone number. gave me this number 001 929 999 1234. obviously a scam
