Hi everyone,
This number is not accurate because it's not from an actual cellphone number, although these scammers use apps to hide their identity. It is definitely a person on their cellphone and downloading an App to make calls to random people using a different number. Best thing to do is ignored the call.
gentleman called with thick accent saying he was from EZ-Health (?) and my insurance company is authorizing a free knee brace for my recent medical injury. He tried to verify my information (which he had my first/last name and my recent injury summary). However, he said my insurance--Medicare--authorized this. I do not have Medicare. He proceeded to ask questions about my current insurance, which I refused. I said he is in violation of HIPPA laws, and I will have to confirm with my doctor and my insurance company this is legit before I give him any information. And on top of that I do not need a knee brace. He wouldn't give me his name, but did say I could call back this specific #. It was a scam! I couldnt find this health company and both my insurance and dr. denied submitting any such claim.
