Who called from 9365688939

Received multiple calls from this number. Call back resulted in message "this is not a valid extension"

Got call at 9:10 am from "Effective Teles".  Didn't leave message.  If it is MY mortgage company, they would have no reason to call me and generally id themselves on caller id when trying to sell me something.  Too many companies are identifying themselves verbally as "Your" mortgage, electric, gas company, etc.  THAT should be illegal.  Isn't misrepresentation to gain monetarily considered fraud?

In the past several weeks, I've gotten 6 calls to my land line from this number.  

We don't answer the calls until today.  I decided to give my granddaughter's idea a whirl.  I picked the phone on the 4th ring and said nothing till the girl on the line asked to speak to my husband to which I shouted loudly into the phone some Chinese jibberish -- sort of like "Eeeeee-chaaaauuuulllll!" and hung up.  

We'll see if this works.  The company is Effective Telev_____ --don't know the last part of the word, as this is what comes up on my caller ID screen.  If you renew your Do Not Call list it seems you get more of these.

You don't have to renew your DNC, once on it it is there until you remove it. They changed that way back. By "renewing" it all you do is open yourself up for legal telemarketing calls on top of the scams for another day's.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

I feel the same way...I have also gotten several calls and they never leave a message!
