Claimed to be with some type of Law Enforcement Benevolent organization. There was a delay in spoken words, leading me to believe they were not really calling from the number on the caller ID. I asked where they were located and he said in Alabama. Well 936 is a Texas area code, definitely indicated it was a scam to me. Normally I do not answer a number I do not recognize but was waiting on a call from a friend who lives in that area code, so I answered. I should have let it go to voicemail. My experience has been in the past that these so called Law Enforcement organizations are scams and Law Enforcement does NOT benefit from anything they do.
