Called landline but when I answered the phone there was nothing but dead air/silence then the click of being disconnectd.
Caller ID on my house phone say's Anderson, Tx however, when I looked the number up on my CallDetector app from my cellphone; comes up as being from Houston,Tx. No other info.
So fed up with these spoof/computer/hangup calls!! Wish I could get a device for home phone to block them with out paying extra for phone company to do it! Worse yet, all our numbers are on the DNC registry but still we get them!
I don't know why we still post these numbers. These scammers/ telemarketers are not going to stop. I just wonder how many of these calls get through to government officials personal phones? Oh wait that is right we pay for their secure lines. These scammers are hitting craigs list too. Beware of these scammers that reply to your ad with a legit looking response and asking you to reply through their personal email address. There is a site that will tell you if an email address is good or bad. Just google it.
