This caller left no message, but calls from similar numbers were allegedly attempts to get us to change our energy supplier. Probably a scammer looking for as much personal information as possible. Beware!

Caller ID says "NAME NOT FOUND," and with the number suspiciously ending in 0000, you know one thing: The caller is likely up to no good. It's true that in the Midwest, energy companies are calling consumers like crazy to get the to switch their supplier. But hiding behind bogus-looking phone numbers and non-professional Caller ID information suggests scammers are at work. Fortunately, my online call-blocking service already had the number on their blacklist and intercepted the call.
I actually answered.....Wanting to provide a fixed electric rate....told them I had very good rate and not interested in changing....she very politely thanked me for my time and hung up. (0000 can be legit number...once had next door neighbor with such)
