I agree. Caller-Id should be added by the phone company only and others should not be allowed to change it. If you want your caller-Id to be your company name then you pay a fee to the phone company. The phone company knows the true number because they have to bill for the call. If they can't verify the number then they use the caller-id "unknown." A company and individuals could still block their id. There should also be an out-of-country indicator.
