I got a call from this number. They claimed to be Time Warner Cable and offered me a cable/internet bundle at a good price. I immediately suspected it wasn't legit because the internet speed she offered was 200Mb/s... a speed almost NO ONE offers, let alone bundled with cable for less than $100.
I asked a TWC chat representative, and she verified that this number is NOT with Time Warner Cable.
"Rachel : at 17:17:42 :The phone number used was not from TWC. This will be escalated to our management so we can further investigate."
I have received several calls from (937) 306-2320 lately. They leave no message and I will not call them back, but I have learned that they say they represent Time Warner Cable. I checked with my local TWC and this is a hoax. This number is not connected in any way to TWC. TWC is working with local authorities to see how to get this stopped.
