Finally answered this unknown number as I was reaching for the phone to make a call. They asked to speak to "Nicole"--don't know where that came from, but about 2 years ago I received coupons for a gal, by that name, for a store at which I do not shop at. Concerned that someone had tried to take out a credit card for this address I contacted them. Since then we have begun receiving mail for two women that don't exist. The post office is useless as far as trying to get it stopped. Seems like it has at least gotten less since some arrived "adult only". I didn't open it
but this time the PO paid some attn. In the meantime the one phone rings some times 9 times or more a day--usually robo calls, most hang up before message begins, but it is still annoying when you are running your business out of your home and another phone is ringing all day. Anyway, she asks for "Nicole"--this has been my phone number since 1989--so who started this? She was not happy that I was angry--too bad--I told her I was tired of "Nicole" who doesn't exist. She said "I never called you before"--which is not true--caller ID would prove otherwise--this is not the first time Champion has showed up--ok, maybe she didn't personally call me--but "Champion" has frequently showed up. I feel bad for all the elderly people who have difficulty getting to their phone at all who also have to put up with this nonsense. Have no idea what the company does--don't care--just want to be left alone--they aren't paying the phone bill--they aren't going to be clients. If I want services I will call companies I choose to do business with.
