This is a collection attempt from Walmart Credit Services. They don't leave a message but when I called the number back they did identify themselves in the recording that answers the call.

I buy anything anybody calls to sell me .. buy all the extras .. keep them on line forever .. tell them I just moved in with friend so ask them to hold while I get address .. lay phone down for long period .. come back .. tell them sorry it took so long but girl/guy came by thought I had a shot with but got blown off .. then  give them phony address .. tell them I haven't unpacked yet so hold while I find my credit card .. lay phone down for long period .. come back .. tell them sorry it took so long but good game on TV in den so had to call my bookie to get bet down .. sorry .. but gave all my money to bookie .. ask them to hold again to see if I can borrow money from new room-mate .. lay phone down for long time .. come back .. tell them sorry .. a babe came over with a 24 pack and bottle of jack daniels so had a few brews and a few shots .. then ask them .. "uh .. who are you and what is it that you wanted??" .. if they still hang in .. I say ok to everything .. then when get down to credit card again .. tell them hold on .. babe that brought beer is drunk and coming on to me .. then lay phone down and go away .. they usually don't call back 2nd time .. but .. if they do .. I ask them if they were the one who called last time .. then tell them all about me scoring with the babe .. then tell them I have to move because the babe was my new room-mate's sweet hottie and room-mate wants me to move so I'll have to call them back after I get new address .. ask them how I can get back in touch .. and tell them that I want just that person to talk to and no one else because they are so sweet :)

how to have a little fun with nagger callers and remove your number without relying on a worthless list : .. make up a believable business name .. like if you're in Oklahoma .. just answer "Red Clay, are you calling for load delivery or excavation" .. then to whatever caller says, just answer, "You've reached Red Clay. We deliver red clay by the load or we excavate red clay. How can I help you." If they persist asking to speak to a name, just tell them "Can't take or connect employee or customer calls on this line. What we do .. any person entering or exiting has to swipe their pass thru scanner .. then any message prints out and guard gives it to them ..   so give me your name .. company .. phone .. and who is the message for" - - - if it's a real call they will give you the info and you can do what you want about calling them back or whatever .. ..  Usually solicitors just say sorry wrong number .. they still may call back a few times but if you persist with your dialog they will knock you off their predictive dialing computer .. make the name of your company something your state is known for, like in Minnesota you could just answer, "Lakes" and you can be a landfill company or an excavation company .. in Texas you could just answer, "B O T .. Big Ol' Texas" and you can be a big oil rig moving company .. etc .. use your imagination and make it fun!! .. has worked terrifically for us to get us off most lists of naggers etc .. HAVE FUN!!!!!!!!

I know it's annoying but i used to do telemarketing till I could find a better job.  Keeping them on the line is good.  We had to have a certain number of hours in the day on calls so that would be the highlight of my day if you did that.
