Saw the name "Mercer Tara" and thought (after being woken up) that it was a wrong number and answered.
WRONG! Just another worthless scam. Threatened to have me arrested if I didn't pay all my taxes to the IRS....
Just hung up.
Do NOT call it back as the IRS never calls and threatens anyone with arrest. If there is an issue, they will send a letter by the USPS and you will then be able to respond to them.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.
