This number called me to enter me in a drawing for cash and prizes for being a "preferred" customer of Visa, Mastercard, etc. I was then given options of getting magazines for free. I am not sure if this was a scam or not. I declined the magazine offer and did not give out any information.
some reader comany, said i'm in thier drawing becasue i use master card or visa. fruad asked to remove name from list and now turning them in for "do not call list " violation
Lady Called me Jocye (Not my name), to be I was eligible to get her prize she just needed my name. I told her no thank you and hung up. They have called me the last 3 days.
This number kept coming up over the past few days. No message left and they only ring once or twice...not even enough time for voice mail to kick in. I called the number back and the woman on the line didn't say what company it was until I asked and then she said "Publishers in Dayton Ohio". She was talking about my name being entered into a drawing for prizes. I told her I was not interested and to take my name off their list and to stop calling. She pressed on and asked to 'confirm' my mailing address. I refused and ended up hanging up with her.
