I got called in the uk from this number from some Bellend who claimed to be from my "Local power company." He knew my company name and probably also knew my power contract is up for renewal. This is likely to be a good old fashioned hard selling electricity contract broker using a US number to avoid British rules on unsolicited phone calls, data protection and hard selling. Never give these people your mpan or supply number or tell them who your supplier is. They will register a new contract at an extortionate rate without your consent then your nightmare will begin.
