When I called my bank, their caller ID showed this number instead of mine. Factory reset my phone and happened again after. Called provider and no info.
This number pops up on my cell and when I answer, it is from my niece sounding distressed, then I am cut off from speaking to her and it states that it is a "one time charge of $1.99 and $.99 for every minute" then asks for my credit card number. I hang up and when I try to call it back, I get a verizon messege that is no longer a working number.
I also have had the problem: whenever I call an 800 number such as my credit card company, the number 941-201-7626 pops up on their screen as my caller ID. It is not my number.
A company contracted with Terminix came out to the house to take care of rats on my roof without my permission and when I called Terminix to find out what was going on, they said I was calling from this number 941-201-7626. The automated Terminix phone system said the account I was calling for belonged to Henry Hall.
I got the same thing as Carrie - except it was "an urgent call from" my daughter. I tried to call back and got a message that the number was disconnected or no longer in service. I live in another state and am disabled. This appears to be some sort of scam, although how they got a recording of my daughter's voice makes this seem even scarier!
