The reason you may have a problem with them calling is that their phone etiquette rates an "F", as if brought up in an alley by cats + their manner is akin to pushy telemarketers, even IF they have been servicing you for years.
When questioned WHO the hell they are, one of them took 4 questions before being able to spit out the complete organization name, then referred to "your license", as if we only had one ... could have been a driver's license for all she gave in information.
They are out of Florida, so does that help explain such odd, nonconformance behaviour to anyone?
This number called the office this morning. On the other end an unidentified caller with obvious boiler room background noise asked for the boss by first name. I said she was unavailable and asked if I could help. The caller declined and hung up.
Based on Islands7's report above, it would make sense for a CPE company to call here. However, one would think the firm's callers would identify themselves as such and leave a message when invited so that they could possibly get a call back, or even business/sales, from interested people. Then again, that makes too much sense.
