I have been continually getting calls from these jokers and have asked them to stop without much success. They want to help me refinance my student loan. I never had student loans.
This is a information gather scam trying to get your personal information. They rotate the number to avoid bring caught. They either use your student loan forgiveness or trying to sell you health care coverage.
Pre-recorded call to DNC listed phone number. Had to press '1', but then there was another automated lead checker, so I had to press '1' a few more times before I got to a human. Claimed they were with "Student Loan Relief", but I didn't qualify. Need to work on my fake numbers so I can "get my loan forgiven" better. Web site he gave was for sale, so no help there.
These people are pretty much frauds. They will get you to reveal your account information the governments DOE Student Loan Web site and login as you to see your loan status (often without telling you they are doing that by they are "affiliated with the DOE"). Then they charge you money for you to default on your student loans.
