I was told by a policeman that these calls are scam. They say they are a charity and give to the police but do not. When I answered them I asked them if he was a policeman. They would always say no. Then I told him that my friend who was a policeman told me not to donate and then hung up. Now I ignore and then look up the number on the off chance it's a legitimate call
