Received a call at 10:50 a.m. from 941-363-6285. Woman asked for me using my legal name and proceeded to launch into some garbled mess that I could only make out the word 'Mazda' out of. I heard the sounds of a boiler room call center in the background. I guess her headset was too far from her mouth and she was talking too fast, maybe reading from a script. Anyway, when I said I couldn't understand her she hung up on me. My phone is registered with the Do Not Call list and I don't recognize this number and they didn't identify themselves. I'm filing a complaint with the Do Not Call registry for this call. It appears to be a spammy car warranty type of call.
These people have called me relentlessly for months telling me my car warranty has run out and they want to sell me a new warranty. I have told them repeatedly to stop calling me but they continue to do so. HELP!
I've received three calls over the past two months (April/May 2017) from this number, each time they say they're calling from the auto warranty department in regards to my 2009 Pontiac Sunfire. Each time I proceed to tell them that A) I do not own a 2009 Pontiac Sunfire and B) Actually nobody in the world owns a 2009 Pontiac Sunfire because they stopped being made after 2005. Then the person hangs up on me. I've tried calling the number and it rings for ages before a generic recorded voice says to leave a message, which I do, asking them to remove my number from their call list. And yet still the calls continue...
