call with different numbers, tried calling back but recording says that the number is not in service. they called earlier, indian accent wanted to lower my interest rate on my card, i told them to take me off the calling list and he asked why i told him i did not have a card his information was incorrect and he hung up.
Yep, the ole' Credit Card Interest Rate Reduction folks from Bangalor calling randomly in violation of the National Do-Not-Call Registry. This time I had them going for 9 minutes, between having to go find my card, giving bogus numbers s l o w l y, then changing a number or two on read-back. Pass the word - they have to pay the poor suckers that are calling, and if enough folks waste enough of their time they'll have to find another way to make a living...
I was eating when I got the call and could not answer with food in my mouth. I called this number back 2 times and it never got a ring tone it just disconnected both times. May be a spoofed number?
Got a prerecorded call from this number about lowering my interest rate. Transferred to a person to ask to be removed from the call list (I'm on the Do Not Call Registry, not that it does much good). The guy was really smarmy and called me honey. I hung up on him. Creep!
