Midland Credit scum using yet anther number to try to collect on a long ago paid for debt. In fact the letter sent to me admits in fine print that the debt is too old to take legal process?? WTF call me then??
All that means is that they can't sue you. They can still attempt to collect the debt. If it was paid and they are trying to collect it, that is a violation of the law.
