This guy calls every single day about a mortgage company. He says his name is David and once I say take my number off he hangs up. Then calls back the next day . I answer and he says he is a different name and I told him I will report him for harassment.
I got a call at 7:00 pm. on a Monday from 949-000-7676. It was a robo- call telling me my computer is infected with a bad virus. And this isn't the first time...over the past couple of months I've gotten 3 or 4 other calls where there was an actual person on the other end. (Even though I could hardly understand what they said.) I think one even said that Microsoft told them to call me and they were going to help me fix it. I'm not sure if it was legit or not, but it sounded fishy so I just hung up. Unfortunately, I didn't write the phone numbers down...but I will from now on. Has this happened to anyone else?
This 'number' has called 3 times today. Didn't answer and no message was left.
Tried to do a reverse number look up. Reported back that it was an invalid number, but with a valid area code, (949).
