These guys keep calling me, heavy Indian accent.
Finally had enough and played a different card.
This time I told them I'd been waiting for them to call because I need some quick cssh and want in on the scam. Told them that I could phish in tons of cash since a don't have an accent. Asked who could I talk to to get in on it.
The dude was totally confused for some time and kept trying to stay with his script.
After about three minutes he said 'I dont know' and hung up.
These Indian tech guys are so helpful, always monitoring our computers for problems, and then alerting us at the first signs of trouble. Thanks! I gave them my credit card and Social Security number just to be safe.
Seriously, though...Who falls for this [***]? These guys really need to find a better way to earn their karma. They tell me repeatedly that they've detected problems with my Microsoft OS, but I've never even owned it.
Bottom line, if you don't know the number, don't answer. Then research the number and if shady, block it.
