Just got a call from this number asking for my boss. He said his name was Andrew from Grove Capital Partners. I get so many of these scam phone calls every day that I no longer bother to ask to take a message (the call forwards into my line when the receptionist is out on an errand, and I'm the Director), and they get frustrated because I don't.
The very first words out of this caller's mouth (949-201-1120) were lies. The caller ID identified the caller as "San Juan, Cap, CA". He stated that he was doing a follow-up call to a conversation that his company/business had with me back in June about investing. His canned presentation doesn't wash very well with people outside of his home state of California. Play with your native Californians man, others don't go along with your garbage/scams.

I pretty sure this company is pumping and dumping stocks. The guy said that they are hired by a company to promote their stock. They told me 3 stocks that they promoted over the past year. The stocks were ACAD, FNMA, LQMT. The FNMA is the Fannie Mae which is owned by the Government. I serious doubt that the govt would pump and dump a stock. They would be breaking their own laws.
