Right on. If people would just listen instead of getting all hyper and hostile then they could actually find out what the call is really about instead of posting ignorant comments online about what they hastily determined it to be. We are not insurance agents, we are trained to never represent ourselves as such. We operate on an automatic dialer and have no control over what calls are put out. We generate our lists from forms populated online requesting cheaper auto insurance. If your information was stolen and sold to us, we apologize but that is not our fault. When we place a call on the do not call list, it may take up to 24-48 hours to stop the calls. The form we receive typically only has your name, address, email, and dob and that's why we ask you to verify the information we do. We are required to fill in all fields of the form so that the carriers we submit to may be able to provide you with the most accurate quote. We are required to read a "telephone consumer protection act" (TCPA) disclaimer upon completing each form for both yours and the company's protection against fraudulent activity. We are required to pitch secondary leads and so forth, you certainly may object to anything at anytime. Bottom line...we are just doing our job, we are not a malicious company we are simply here to assist consumers in insurance savings. If you are uncomfortable with any of it you may simply decline the call at anytime and we will respectfully end the phone call. Thank you!
I pay the bill on my phone for my use and not as a sales tool for anyone else. Your call was in no way solicited. I regret that it is apparently the only job available to you, but frankly that's not a problem or concern of mine.
I I am also currently an employee @ LCN. I work remotely (from home). To clear things up as well, we are NOT a telemarketing agency as we aren't selling anything. All we are doing is verifying leads for insurance companies. We work with multiple Ins companies across the United States to help people save $$ on their Auto/Home/Life insurance policies. To those of you that think we are "scum" you are very wrong. I am a college graduate, and in the process of furthering my education. Most of us do this part time, to make some extra money. If you don't want the service it's very simple. All you have to do is POLITELY say "I'm not interested" and hang up the phone. CONGRATULATIONS, we will disposition the call and you won't be contacted again. There is no need for foul language and disrespect.
504-273-1121 is the # they are using in New Orleans. Don't believe anyone trying to defend this company, and do not give them your information. I actually have been looking for auto insurance. I merely asked what LCN stands for and the caller hung up. Reporting to the "Do Not Call List", as everyone should. Just called me 1/2/15.
