I work for a school district in Arizona and began getting lots of telemarketer calls at my office in recent months.  I did not answer as I don't have business with that area code.  No message left.  Called number... recording said call may be monitored or recorded for training purposes.... it is important we speak with you please hold for the next bank representative...all banking representatives are currently busy...I will explain why we are calling... because interest rates have dropped, your home loan was flagged for a reduction.. blah blah.  Since they are calling a school district phone number, obviously they don't know ANYTHING about anyone's individual loan.  It is a loan spammer trying to get people to listen to them to refinance their mortgages.  No legit bank would do that.

I have found that when I don't answer after a while they stop.  Good luck.
