Woman called wanting to speak to the person in charge of HR management and workshops. I asked her what she was calling regarding, she repeated herself. I managed to get her to say it a couple more times, each time she sounded like she was confused. I told her she wasn't being specific, what did you need? A name, a phone number an email? What exactly are you calling for? She said she was calling to introduce her company and offer HR a better way to do workshops. I told her this company has less than fifty people, we don't do workshops or formal meetings. She had no idea what to say. I hung up on her.
I totally agree this among several other numbers call several times a week and I don't answer because I don't know who it is and I too an on the national do not call list. People don't seem to respect that or check that.
This number just went through all 8 of our incoming lines twice first 2 calls I answered all I could hear were the telltell telemarketing noise in the background so I just hung up on all the other calls. This is so annoying as a receptionist and NO you won't get through me even if you act like my boss' best friend what idiots lol!!!
