I've been getting calls for a week from all these random cities across the country that don't leave a message. When this one said San Juan Cap, CA which is local to us I answered. She told me she was with a charity that serves homeless veterans and they have 2,000 vets they are trying to serve but only 1,200 beds and asked for a one time donation. I told her I appreciate what they are doing but don't donate to charities without checking them out first and asked her to e-mail or mail me info. She said they are not that kind of organization, what they'll do is take my donation and give me a tax deducible receipt and that there's a 800 number and website I can check. I asked her to e-mail me the 800 number and website, she then rattled off some website name real fast, so I said I'd check it out and she hung up without saying good-bye.
location came up as san juan capistrano. called us at 10am august 15, left no message. i called back, answering machine: "thank you for calling us back" with no company name. and absolute shite music.
