After I didn't hear an immediate reply, I figured predictive caller and simply placed phone on speaker and waited for loser to begin speaking, which they did a few seconds later, but I remained silent seeing how long they would stay on (about another 3 seconds).

I got a call from this number and the lady calling said she was calling from American Pro Energy (who has called me numerous times before). I politely told her to not call me again and that I wasn't interested in solar. She told me they don't sell solar, I again asked her not call me and to lose my number and her response was, "Why would I lose your number? I am going to keep calling you!" and hung up on me.
Answered as I'm expecting a call from a random Orange County number on behalf of a friend. Identified themselves as American Pro Services. "This is a not a sales call. Your home qualifies for something something..." I hung up about here.
