Received a computerized phone recording to call this number because the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me. It ordered me to call this number immediately for more information.
Called with computer voice and told me to call IRS head quarters at 949-299-6008. I called and someone answered that was clearly in a bar. After talking to him for a while I told him he should be ashamed of himself for scamming people. He got very nasty and began to cuss and call me names.
Received an automated call 3 hours ago that only left this number to call on my answering machine. None of the rest of the message was on the answering machine.
Just received the same call about 2 minutes ago. The same message was left on my voicemail. Got the same call about a month ago. I Know the IRS doesn't operate that way.
