I just got a call from these people who said that they've been trying to serve me papers 6 months ago, to appear in court for a lawsuit against me. They took 6 months to finally call me? Ok, First Red Flag. Then they said that they tried to serve me at an address that I've never even lived at, but belonged to an ex husband whom I've been divorced from for at least 8 years. Second Red Flag! Then they asked me for my current address. If they had a legit case against me, there's no way they would need to ask me for my current address. Especially since the county that they supposedly filed the claim with had just recently sent me a jury summons. If they wanted to serve me papers, they know where to find me. Third Red Flag!!
This guy tried every scare tactic he could, basically telling me there were additional fees if I waited too long to act, that I could be sued and have my wages garnished. I basically told them I didn't have any money and that paying them would be a financial hardship. So, he puts me on hold, then he comes back and says they're willing to work with me to bring the balance down and allow me to make monthly payments. I told him that was still too high, so he said he would call me back.
Right after I hung up, I did a nifty google search and came across a few entries online about this being a scam. I also called the county small claims court to verify the case number, and it turns out the case # he provided me was not even a legitimate case number in the county I live in, and that it was more than likely a fraudulent call.
So, to these jerk offs who try to take advantage of people, nice try. I hope everyone takes the time to do some research before they end up being victims. Those scammers sure are getting really sneaky. [***].
they are scammers just scammed my father and took advantage of him, threatened to take him to jail for a so called loan that was under his name, which is untrue, my father is sick and he was troubled because he was told the sheriff was on his way to get him within this week. My mom told me I did research and found no case number with the one they gave my father no warrants for his arrest, no cases in our county or state. Be careful.

I just got a call from a so called michael durden from LCS and they tolld me that i was bein sued for a debt from 2008. I called the court house and provided the case number and was told the case number is false its not a legitament case. the number they called me from was 949-667-0474. its a scam so becarefull i was lucky not to fall for it.
