Got a call from a young man who immediately asked for my name. When I offered no information and asked for his name, as this is proper phone etiquette, he hung up. Sounds very fishy to me.
A man asked my name and then immediately hung up, the call said it was from Irvine CA. Seems very shady! Have no clue what's it was about... Just don't answer or say anything and hang up so they won't call again.
When I picked up the phone I could hear a man in the background saying that he "got some crazy names today". The he realized I'd picked up and quickly said, "I'm calling for X." I said, "Yes?" He asked with what sounded like disbelief or suspicion, "You're a woman and you're named X?" I said, "You have the wrong number" and blocked the number. Seemed like a telemarketer to me.

Another rob call from a boiler room.....I have 65 numbers blocked and they just keep forging new ones...Its always the same few pitches so you would think they cannot possibly expect some is just going to change their mind after literally dozens of harassing phone calls. Nope....the beat goes on as does the tracking of the telemarketers. We now have a UC working at several of the exchanges gathering info.
