I received a call from this company Howard and Associates out of Irvine, CA. stating my wife opened a credit card and owed a balance from 2007. I Told them this was false because my wife never opened a credit card & we still don't have any credit cards. They said they were going to send me legal documents. I said wait if the account that we didn't open in 2007 then the California statue of limitation have already ran out. The man named Keith Stevens said the Statute of limitations begin on the discharge date which he claimed was in Sept. of 2009. I told him no, it's actually after missing the last payment or six months after, not the discharge date. He got pissed and cocky. I said goodbye. Their Phone number was 949-864-6879, so I think they changed their number

Also, they are using a company called www.bandwidth.com to mask their numbers. It's a VOIP service. I found all their info and other associated companies using the California Secretary of State website.
This # called my husband's employer, threatened to garnish wages for an overdraft fee in 2005. An overdraft fee of $1,000. The overdraft was supposedly only $40. Lol yeah right, we're not stupid, but that was plain and simple harassment. Phishing is getting dangerous when they try to get info from your employer.
