i received a call from this number the said that they were IRS tax relief. the female on the phone said her name was lauran as soon as i asked her how they got my number she hung up. the weird thing is that she called straight back and i asked her again and she hung up. i called the number back and they have a message machine:) i decided that i am going to continue to leave long pointless messages all day. it might now get me anywhere but it sure makes me fill better
This is a telemarketer; after they have taken very little information they express that you have qualified for tax relief. Funny part it I have no need for tax relief. So then they say hold on to speak with a manager/expert. When the manager/expert at Fidelity Tax picked up the phone I immediately began asking the name of the company, address, etc. Told them to take me off their list and hung up. Some [***] from Fidelity Tax called me back and said "Hey you called earlier and we must have gotten disconnected"; I said "No, you called now take me off your list", and hung up. The idiot "John" called again and asked "Why did you answer and hung up on me. If the government would uphold their laws then the "DO NOT CALL Register would work!
Are you sure it's FTR, Inc. and not FTR LLC out of Tustin, CA? The LLC has robo-called me close to a dozen times now, and after a while into the sales spiel one learns they're calling from behind the Orange Curtain, Tustin, CA. It takes time, but gotta listen to sa speil to learn who's really calling. LLC robocalls have use area codes 202- DC and 208 - ID, 310- Los Angeles County, plus 949 and 714, Orange County, and Tustin is in OC.
