Yet another solar energy lead-hunter.
After the robo-dialer delay, a man came on and asked for my son - who has never lived at this house or with this phone number.  So I asked who was calling and he said "Walter from Green Wolf Energy".
When I asked how he got this phone number for the person he asked for, he said "the yellow pages", which of course is not possible.
So I asked what he was calling about and he said "solar energy panels".
I think he is new at this job, and was unsure what to do as I asked more questions about the company, and he finally hung up.
The call from number indicates southern California.  There is a "Green Wolf Energy" solar installer in northern California not far from where I now live.  This guy is probably a paid work-from-home lead hunter for them.
Maybe I will call Green Wolf Energy tomorrow and ask if they are using robo-callers to hunt leads.
If so, I will let them know that we would never do business with a company that cold-calls us.
The ironic thing is - my son is actively considering solar for his roof, but this is not the way to get his business!
