I dont know who or what they are, but they call my cell phone about 20x a day while I am at work. This has to stop!!! They never leave a message and when I try to call back on my breaks, I get a busy or deadair!!!
After being bothered all week up to 4 calls a day. I finall answered the call today. The woman on the other end ask fo me by name then told me she was calling from Utah (Yet the number was a local one) and that I had been entered into a contest. Before she could say any more I asked to be removed from their call list. So far I haven't been called back.
thanks for the update, glad there are websites such as this. Called me, probably the same company that calls me all the time from an 866 or 877 number and never leaves a message. Probably debt collector or scam, welcome to the US economy [***]. I wonder if they're aware that harrassment calls are against the law and I could be collecting money from them, that is if you could ever figure out who it is.
The last call tried to pretend it was a legal firm with a case against me, well if you have a case against me follow procedure [***], don't try to badger me over the phone, send a court date with a sobpoena, jerks, all a scam. I've seem reports of this tactic all over the web, I forget the name of the company but very ruthless and they will use threatening tactics, ignore these calls, tell them to go fu.. themselves and to get a real job/life. I don't really care if someone had a legitimate bill due anyways, if it's too big, and they win "their case in court" then I'll win mine in bankrupsy, good luck idiots.
