Apparently they did not get the hint. They called twice in 17 minutes. I know it is a scam, because 1)if it was important, they would leave a message, and 2)when I picked up the last time, it was dead air for several seconds before someone came on the other line.
Called left no message. Called the number back and an automated service said "Our organization raises money for many charitable organizations and we'll try calling you back again soon". Blocked.
Person said they were calling from the childhood lukemia foundation and they were rasing money for giftbaskets. They first asked for someone named 'richard' i told them they had the wrong number and they said 'oh sorry we did have the old information but we are reaching out to everyone int he community'. I hung up....I have told them multiple times to remove my phone number but they refuse 8-(
