This is a "yes" scam. They ask if you can hear them ok. You say yes then you'll start getting charges on your phone. They record you saying yes then try to use that against you. Don't answer it and never answer can you hear me.
They call me 4 or 5 times a day. I added my number to the do not call list, but it hasn't kicked in yet because I did it yesterday.
If I were to answer though...and get the message that says "Press 1 if you think this call is a mistake"...I absolutely would NOT press 1. I'm sure that's part of the scam. If you've done this, you better keep a close eye on your phone bill...just in case. By pressing 1 you may have inadvertently agreed to something....
