They said they were from the American Dental Association. It was one of those sounds that you know it is a marketer... I told them they did not have permission to call me and do not call me again!
Same thing here... but she asked to speak to my husband. I told her that he was not here and could I take a message. She said to please have him call back. She was foreign and English wasn't all that great. I asked her what she said the business was again. She asked what I said and I told her that I just was curious as to what busines she said she was working for. I wanted to be sure to tell my husband who was calling. She slammed the phone down on me. If you try to call back you only get an answering machine that says they are busy with other callers. Usually if someone calls and I am not sure who they are I pick up (if it isn't an 800 number) I say hello once and wait. It takes a little while but they do answer the phone, usually a robo call. They ask you to push one to talk to someone and then they are too busy to talk or they ask to press two and give your phone number to take you off their calling list. This last one though was definitly some kind of scam. But......I did get to talk to her. LOL
Static noise on call, lady stated she was from Senior Benefits, a non-profit organization, wanted to talk to my wife, 10 years younger than me, about long term care. There is nothing non-profit about them. I said no thanks and hung up.
