Called this company and turns out they are a water testing company. They promised me a voucher for a free meal at red lobster, and a stay in Las Vegas. Then scheduled an appointment to come out to my house to deliver said giftts and test my water. Pretty sure they will try to sell me a water purification system, so will cancell this appointment. Definitely smells like a scam to me.
received a notice which said.PARCEL ON HOLD Final notice 3 days only. Called the number left a message they had a Parcel code # 15605.
Then they called back and made some excuse about they may have the wrong party. I was questioning them and the gal obviously got nervous. Said we don't come to your area. She said the company name was accurpro. water filteration system. Apparently they are calling homeowners saying you have a qualified for a prize. I have a feeling it is no more than some company trying to sell you a water filtration system.
A little sketchy how they are going about this
Shady, shady, shady...I got a notice that there was a welcome kit that needed to be delivered, so I called and they went on with the idea that I thought it was our new HOA. They called to confirm they were stopping by with a voucher for a free trip and a gift card, I said that I didn't want them here because of their deceptive marketing practices and the lady gave me attitude that everything was all ready for us and I should have let them know. I said I didn't care because it was very shady. It is a water testing company under the guise of whatever someone will fall for.
DEFINITELY NOT A SCAM. WE GIVE PEOPLE A $200 GIFT TO PURCHASE 30 MINUTES OF THEIR TIME TO PROVIDE FREE INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR WATER. WE ARE A WATER FILTRATION COMPANY AND MOST PEOPLE IN CALIFORNIA AT SOME POINT IN TIME, DO SOMETHING ABOUT THEIR WATER QUALITY. WHEN THAT HAPPENS, WE WANT TO REMEMBERED THAT WE TREATED THE CUSTOMER NICELY, BOUGHT THEM DINNER AND SENT THEM TO VEGAS. IT'S THAT SIMPLE!
