Automated message from caller ID: "Private caller" 951-319-7722. Female voice. Non-accented English: "This is Laura Thompson with the private servicing division of CC services. I am calling in regards to a formal complaint that requires your immediate attention. We have documents that are scheduled to be delivered to your residence or place of employment. We will only make 2 attempts to deliver these documents. Have valid Identification ready to insure the proper delivery of your documentation. If you or your attorney have any questions regarding this matter, you can contact our firm at 951-319-7722. Once again, 951-319-7722."
The problem is that all of these scam calls are robot calls. The only time the scammers know there is someone on the line is if you actually answer the call and press the requested number on your phone to speak with an agent. I'm not sure if asking them to stop calling will help. It might just alert them that thery got a "live" one. Then then they bombard you with calls. I had one That called me four times a day for weeks. They finally gave up. This particular scam is a joke....I have no debt for them to collect and my credit score is over 800.
