Repeated calls from this number. On the last call, I spoke to Cindy (who sounded like she was from out of the country) claiming she was with The Energy Institute. I interrupted her long enough to tell her to remove me from their calling list and that I would be reporting them to the Federal Trade Commission.
At 2:02 PM on 7/28/2016 my home phone caller ID shows Out of area called. New number for same old scam and I am still not answering. Caller left no message.
Just got a call from Cindy like others have mentioned same deal. I interrupted her before she could continue and I said "Hey Cindy before we continue ask me if I have time to speak with you now" I waited....she said nothing. I then said "Cindy ask me if I have time to speak with you please". She said " do you have time to speak with me"... I then said NO and I suggested she try that in the future so that she does't waist her time and mine. Then I hung up and blocked her incoming number. As I have mentioned in the past. I truly believe that when I went online to submit my number to the DNC registry it simple gave every telemarketer in the world a list of working and validated numbers to call instead of the opposite. I am almost ready to cancel my home phone service and get a cell phone with a new number to make this stuff stop happening in the future.
Claimed to be from the government - gave two conflicting websites (energy.org and energy.gov). Both the operator and supervisor had foreign accents. I kept them on the line for a few minutes, but next time I really need to be more pervy sooner so that they start hating their job.
