This person said she was a flight attendant and would like to buy my Cantina bar through paypal and that she would send a mover to pick it up.
I live in MO and the number is CA. She texted that money went into paypal and was deducted from her account. She wouldn't give me her full name and Paypal received 0$$$! Scams just keep coming over text on phone from FL, NY, CA- all I did was put an ad in craigslist locally!
SCAM! BEWARE!
thank you guys.. I JUST got a text from this number and reported the call ... same song and dance!!! didn't get a dime but its a shame ppl even try this crap
LOL I didn't know that anyone is still falling for these scams! Why on earth would anyone be willing to buy, sight unseen, through a site (CL) with zero recourse options? Common sense should not be an oxymoron. If anyone asks you for personal payment information, BLOCK THEM, then report them immediately. Goodness.
Just posted my furniture for sale on CL, poi text me with the same story. She stated she's a flight attendant from AA and wanted to buy the item for her uncle and will have a moving company the next day to pick up the item. She asked for my name and email.
