I also got a call from this number...I told them that the IRS doesn't call you they send you a notice...they hung up on me...The voice sounded like they where from India...
I got a call from them yesterday 4/7/16 and they gave me a batch# and said I had a lawsuit against me for misfiles taxes from 2009-2014. They said they had sent me a letter and that they had notified me of such and i was nope, I never received anything. I was almost going to cry because I could not believe it. I said what address are you guys sending it because I have never received anything and they would not confirm. Then I said, This is not right I need to verify this with the IRS directly at the 1800 # and bam they hanged up. They had a very strong accent like indian and they were very rude, almost like threatning me. So don't answer it's a SCAM. Be careful Peeps!
Got a call this morning, said they are from the IRS Officer Davis Sounds foreign. Number is from California. He sounded rude and upset I kept asking him who is this I couldn't hear him it sounded like he was on a cellphone. oh well its a scam, do not give any info BEWARE!!!
I got a call from a man that said I owe the IRS 11,000. He gave name of Sam Bolt. Once I asked him why should I give a third party a payment to the IRS when the IRS has not send me any papper work he didn't answer.
