called and actually left a short message say call this number. No name usual robo call. never answer and never call back number from robo call. What MOROMS!
I have received 2 such calls the 1st call was a robo call from (870) 489-3218 informing me the IRS is suing me & I would NEED to call them back... I knew it was a scam so I turned on my phone recorder so I can submit it REAL IRS's & Treasury's benefit. My 1st call didn't last long when I asked the person claiming to be a 'officer' where he was calling from he hung up on me. The 2nd call I placed lasted a bit longer because I played their game. The 'officer' claims to be 'adam smith'. I did NOT give Adam Smith any accurate info about who I am or where I live... Adam Smith hung up on me when I called him out about him not having my info because, as he points out, my file was @ the court house. The 2nd call came today from (951) 386-6248 I did NOT call them back this time. There has to be something that can be done to shut these places down & ensue criminal charges...
This is the third or fourth time I have received this type of call. Don't these idiots know the IRS does not call.. They always use Certified Mail. Can't there be something that can be done to stop these criminals?
Robo call ,I called this number back they claimed to be IRS officers and was seeking back taxes and wantede electronic deposit for almost 8 grand and refused to give me documentation and audit so I can receive help from my accountant thats when I figured it was a scam
