gentlemen clicked on once I picked up the phone, (I never say hello anymore.) claimed that my business was flagged and I stopped him in his tracks and told him to stop calling my number. We were on the DNC list and I would sue.
I just received a call from 9514587571 and orchids of course sent them to VM and immediately googled the number. In frustration, I decided to call back and h hang up; if someone answered. Instead, a female recording in a british voice said press 9 to be added to the do not call list, I did and the system hung up. Note: Now, I'm wondering if by doing so, I simply confirmed that it's a working number. I'll add that number to my contacts under blocked numbers. I'm up to blocked numbers 3, then set it to send calls directly to VM. Hope my two cents are helpful to someone
This number calls our office number almost daily, and they always call well after business hours, e.g., 8:15PM last night, or on weekends. If they listen long enough to get our voicemail, they'll know that (1) this is a business number, and (2) our business is not the kind of business that would be open past 5PM or on weekends. I've blocked our number and called back, and all it says is "press 9 to remove your number from our calling list". I guess they're not bugging us during the day, which is good, and they don't leave messages, which is even better.
My husband has gotten this call the same call and the same reply when he called back. He selected the option to remove and blocked the call. I'm afraid by selecting it you (and he) have inadvertently added your number to a shared list. :/ Look and see if there is a no call list in your state. I believe it is available nationally now, but I'm not sure. Google should tell you pretty quickly.
